Well the web is filled with what seems like rumors of a new Wonder Woman movie going into production. The rumor apparently started over at The Playlist says tomorrow might be the day when the movie gets announced under the supervision of David S. Goyer (you know… the guy who wrote none other than Batman Begins!) during the WB panel.

While everyone was expecting this to be a panel devoted to Green Lantern, I do expect WB trying to make amends after the disaster of Jonah Hex…

Jennifer Love Hewitt has admitted that she is “obsessed” about playing Wonder Woman in a new movie adaptation.
Megan Fox, Sandra Bullock and Beyoncé are also among the big names that have been rumoured to land the role made by famous by Lynda Carter, reports WENN.
Hewitt has reportedly pleased with studio bosses to hire her for the part.

“I’m fighting so hard. I think Warner Bros is getting ready to make Wonder Woman and I really want to play Wonder Woman. I am obsessed with Wonder Woman,” she said.
The actress recently revealed plans to star in a Broadway play.

Danish director Nicolas Winding Refn has stated that he would like to direct a Wonder Woman movie…

“I want to make Wonder Woman. They haven’t asked me yet, but I really want to do it.”

With the superhero momentum gathering pace over at Warner Bros there surely must be some sort of announcement regarding the movie adaptation of Wonder Woman in the not too distant future?

Perhaps they’re waiting to see how Green Lantern does before committing to Wonder Woman?

However the guy, is known for very gritty gore movies, I could definitely see a rated R wonder woman movie from this guy… or PG 13 with some heavy censoring from the studio.  Definitely a wonder woman for the post-Dark Knight era.

Of course She now she won an osca everyone is again saying she would make an awesome wonder woman. I think i heard this Sandra Bullock fan-casting fantasy since 1997… But honestly post Oscar actresses must now have learned the lesson on playing super heroines (Damn you Catwoman!)…

However the news is that Lynda Carter wanted to make things clear about her support for Sandra bullock.

Speaking to Good Morning LA, Carter said: “There was an idea that Sandra Bullock would play Wonder Woman and I think it’s a great idea. She’s exactly the kind of personality and somehow it got messed around that I had said she was too old. That’s nonsense, it wasn’t true. She’s strong and feminine. And Wonder Woman has to be accessible.”
